We Believe

WE BELIEVE

Here is a brief explanation of our beliefs and core values here at Trinity

  The Bible

We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, came from God through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is His Word.

  The Trinity

We believe in one God in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  Jesus & Salvation

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was also born to a virgin, lived a sinless life, and performed miracles.

We also believe that His death on the cross paid the price in full for the sins of all people.

Christ physically came back to life after His death and He ascended into heaven. Today, He sits at the right hand of God the Father, and will return to Earth in power and glory.

We also believe that being born again (or saved) through faith in the shed blood of Christ is absolutely essential.

  Sanctification

We believe that personal integrity (or living a changed, clean, holy life) becomes a major part of a Christian’s lifestyle through the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. This work of the Spirit is called sanctification.

  The Holy Spirit

We believe that those who have been born again can ask for and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Biblical sign that someone has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit enables him or her.

  Baptism

We believe in practicing water baptism by immersion for believers, as an outward sign of an inward work. Jesus directly commanded us to do this. We baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing was provided by Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross and is available to all believers.

  The Millennium

We believe that Jesus will physically come back to earth for a thousand year period called The Millennium.

Seven years prior to this, He will first bring back to life those Christians who have died and will supernaturally cause living Christians to rise and meet Him in the sky.

He will then begin to reign for a thousand years on earth.

  The Resurrection

We believe that God will physically bring back to life everyone who dies, whether Christian or not. This is called the Resurrection. Those that have trusted Christ for their salvation will spend eternity with God; those who have not will live forever in everlasting torment and fire.
